Your PNO Team

PNO – THIS IS US

Welcome

We’re thrilled to have you onboard. And we mean that – because at PNO, every single person (yes, including you) shapes who we are and where we’re heading. Let’s give you some insights into who we are.

We are a family-owned company founded in Denmark in 1975. For over two generations, and under the leadership of Solvej & Jacob,  we have maintained our commitment to excellence while continuously adapting to meet emerging challenges and opportunities in our industry. And, we are the largest certified B Corporation in the Nordics. (Not to brag, but that’s kind of a big deal in the ‘doing good while doing business’ world 😊)

What gets us out of bed in the morning? It’s simple: We’re on a mission to shake up the industry and make sustainable freight the new normal. But we know we can’t do it alone. That’s why we love teaming up with partners and customers who share our vision for a forward-thinking future.

Our teams? We’re a colorful mix of people from all walks of life, bringing different perspectives and ideas. Let’s face it: the best innovations happen when diverse minds come together.

We’re excited to write the next chapters together with forward-thinking new members like you.

What is behind the name PNO?

Ever wonder how companies get their names? The name PNO comes from our founder, Per Nelson Ørnstrand (PNO). But it represents so much more than just a name—it embodies the values and vision he brought to life.

From the beginning, Per Nelson Ørnstrand had a bold dream: to create a company that would set new standards in the transport and logistics industry. He believed in being pragmatic, personal and responsible, and those principles still guide us today.

Ready to dive in?

Let’s explore what these values mean in our everyday PNO life.

F & Q

Helpful Things to Know 💡

We know navigating a new company comes with questions—and we’re here to help.
Here are some of the most common things new PNO team members ask about:

1. What’s the dress code? We trust your judgment! While we keep it professional, we believe comfort helps creativity. Just consider your day’s activities and dress accordingly.

2. Where can I find information on office facilities? On your first day, your Manager will give you a tour of the office, including facilities like meeting rooms, kitchen, etc. Go to CODA, where you find a lot of information that will guide you on access, amenities, team directory etc.

3. Sick days? Health comes first! If you’re unwell, notify your manager and team first thing in the morning. Take the time you need to recover properly.

4. Employee feedback. How does PNO gather employee feedback? We use Officevibe and the Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) surveys to regularly gauge employee satisfaction and engagement. These tools help us continually improve your experience at PNO.

5. How can I connect with my colleagues? Besides the Buddy Program, you’re encouraged to use “Go & Talk” by connecting with colleagues in person rather than through email when possible. We also organize coffee meet-ups, social get together on Friday afternoons and other informal gatherings.

6. Taking a Breather / your lunch. We value flexibility, so you’re free to take lunch and breaks as you need them. Many team members enjoy lunch together or some do a “Walk & Talk” during breaks to refresh and connect with others. Pro tip: Our ‘Walk & Talk’ breaks are famous for sparking brilliant ideas… and burning off those cookies from lunch.

7. PNO Offices – where? We have our Group office in Copenhagen Nordhavn, sales offices in Horsens Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Sweden and Finland. Norway is covered under Sweden.
