PNO commits to Net Zero 2030
PNO has committed to Net Zero by 2030. It is a commitment to become emission-free by 2030 – not only through our own operations but throughout the entire value chain – in order to redeem the Paris Agreement’s objective to limit the temperature increase to 1,5 degrees Celsius, by 2030. We continue to build on our sustainability efforts (B Corp framework) and integrate science-based targets to achieve our reduction strategy for Net Zero 2030. It is in line with our purpose of “leading the transition to sustainable freight” along with our B Corp ambitions to raise our Planet ambition even further and faster.
“It is an ambitious and necessary step in our Planet efforts. We are determined to play our part in eliminating emissions as it is one of the most pressing problems we face. It is a stepping stone process that we need to tackle together with our fellow B Corps, teams, and stakeholders. It will bring both growth opportunities and challenges now as for the future.”
– Solvej Lee Ørnstrand, Head of People, Communication and Sustainability.
