Launch of PNO’s Impact Progress Report 2023
We’re excited to launch our Impact Progress Report 2023 – a place where we share the progress we’ve made. Progress is the keyword for our report. Creating meaningful change for our people and the planet is a journey. There is no destination. It’s a journey of continuous improvement and collaboration with our suppliers, customers, and all stakeholders. We’re far from perfect. With this report, we take an honest look at what worked, what impact we had, and what we need to do better.
Everything we do has an impact on people and the planet. We take responsibility for that. How do we do that? We work with impact in a holistic way. Whether it’s calculating our Scope 1-3 emissions aligned with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, setting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion targets, supporting our suppliers, volunteering with environmental and social organizations, and more.
Our journey started with an internal transformation – making sure the PNO team acts in the most responsible ways. Whether that’s becoming a B Corp, switching to renewable energy, recycling our waste, or educating ourselves on climate change. Now, the transformation is growing stronger and continues with our suppliers, customers, and all stakeholders.
With this Impact Progress Report, we share more about our learnings and challenges with our transition to sustainable freight. Our aim is to start conversations about how we can all play a role in taking responsibility and creating positive change. Because it takes teamwork.
